Ke’Torrius “KJ” Starks Jr. tragically died after being left in a hot car for five hours by a DHR contract worker in Birmingham. After a supervised visit with his father, instead of being returned to daycare, KJ was allegedly abandoned while the worker ran personal errands. With outside temps over 100°F, the car likely reached 150°F. His family is demanding accountability for a system that failed to protect him.
