Florida officials report raw milk outbreak

The Florida Department of Health is investigating a Campylobacter and E. coli outbreak linked to raw milk. As of Aug. 4, 21 people are infected, with 7 hospitalized and at least 2 facing severe complications. Six cases involve children under 10. The outbreak is centered in central and northeast Florida. The dairy source hasn’t been named, but officials cite serious concerns over its sanitation practices.
