Distributor recalls various shrimp because of radioactive concerns; some Walmart products included

Southwind Foods LLC in Carson, CA, is recalling multiple frozen shrimp brands, including some sold at Walmart, due to potential Cesium-137 contamination. Cs-137 is a man-made radioactive isotope that can accumulate in the environment. Long-term, repeated exposure from food or water can damage DNA and increase cancer risk. Consumers should avoid these products until the recall is resolved.
