Deep brand frozen sprouts confirmed as source of Salmonella in multi-state outbreak

The FDA warns consumers and retailers not to eat, sell, or serve Deep-brand Premium Select Frozen Surti Undhiu sprout mix due to Salmonella contamination. This matches a multi-state outbreak causing 11 illnesses, 4 hospitalizations. The affected 12-oz packages have lot code IN25158K and use-by date Dec. 6, 2026. The FDA is investigating the contamination source and potential need for further recalls.
