Walmart recalls 850K water bottles after customers suffer vision loss

Walmart recalls 850,000 Ozark stainless steel water bottles after faulty lids forcefully ejected, causing serious injuries. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reported that three people were struck in the face by the screw-on lids, with two suffering permanent vision loss. The lids can eject unexpectedly if food, carbonated beverages, or perishable drinks like juice or milk have been stored in the bottles over time.
