Mission Statement
Pikes Peak Firearms Instruction provides quality, relevant firearm instruction for the local community. Our emphasis is on firearm safety, marksmanship training, and discipline development to prepare and train the current and next-generation for responsible gun ownership, operation, and enjoyment.
Instructor & Owner
Martin Trujillo is the founder, owner, and lead instructor for Pikes Peak
Firearms Instruction. Martin served a distinguished military career in the
United States Marine Corps for over 30 years eventually retiring as a Master Gunnery Sergeant (MGySgt/E-9). Â He was a military firearms instructor and has worked with local, and federal agencies which include the Department of Diplomatic Security.
Accomplishments include:
- NRA Certified Instructor
- Certified Level 2 Archery   Instructor (USA Archery)
- American Red Cross First Aid certified
- Currently serving as treasurer and program manager for the Warriors and Heroes Outdoors program
- Co – Chair of the Hispanic Advisory Council for the El Pomar Emerging Leaders Program
- Finalist for El Paso County Veteran Volunteer of the Year.
- 1999 Marine Forces Pacific Volunteer of the Year
- Awarded the Legion of Merit award from the Command General, Marine Forces Pacific as well as the
- U.S. Department of State Meritorious Honor Award
