New York company recalls Silver Vobla because it could lead to botulism poisoning

Krasniy Oktyabr Inc. is recalling Aral brand Silver Vobla fish due to improper evisceration, which poses a botulism risk. Sold nationwide in vacuum-sealed blue-labeled packs marked “Product of Kazakhstan.” Routine testing found the fish may contain Clostridium botulinum spores. Do not eat this product—return or discard it. Seek medical help if symptoms occur.
