New Jersey company recalls enoki mushrooms because of Listeria contamination

LLK Trading Inc. of Linden, NJ, is recalling 200-gram packages of enoki mushrooms labeled “Needle Mushrooms” due to Listeria contamination. These were distributed to Bally Produce Corp. in Maspeth, NY, and sold at Datang Supermarket Inc. The packaging is clear plastic on top with blue on the bottom. No illnesses reported yet. FDA testing detected Listeria monocytogenes, prompting the recall to protect consumers.
