Great mullein (Verbascum thapsus) is more than a roadside weed! 🌿 This 8-ft fuzzy giant has been used for centuries to soothe coughs, bronchitis, and asthma. Its leaves have natural antibacterial powers, and the plant improves poor soil, attracts pollinators, and was once used as torches and even toilet paper! Mullein tea calms nerves, and its flowers only open on sunny days.
