Missouri governor activates National Guard, declares state of emergency

KANSAS CITY, MO — Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe declared a state of emergency and activated the National Guard amid growing civil unrest nationwide. Executive Order 25-25 allows the Adjutant General to deploy service members to assist state officials during expected protests and any potential disruptions across Missouri.
