Summer’s bounty is here, and preserving garden and farmers market produce is essential. I scored a great deal on Ontario corn, canned it for winter, and froze green beans after blanching. I also froze bulk peppers and flash-froze fresh blueberries. My daughter helped with prepping and learned valuable budgeting lessons. In total, I preserved 27 pints of corn, 5 bags of beans, 3 bags of peppers, and 3 bags of blueberries for winter meals.
