The upcoming HHS report may also tie low folate levels to autism, suggesting folic acid or leucovorin could help treat symptoms. Acetaminophen, common in Tylenol, is widely used by pregnant women, but studies—including Harvard’s—show prenatal exposure may raise the risk of autism and ADHD.
