Breakfast burritos recalled because of Listeria; some went to schools

M.C.I. Foods Inc. of Santa Fe Springs, CA, is recalling 91,585 lbs of frozen breakfast burritos and wraps that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Products, including Los Cabos, El Más Fino and Midamar brands, were shipped nationwide to foodservice sites and schools between Sept 17–Oct 14. Identified by “EST. 1162A” or “P-5890A,” these items should be discarded. No illnesses reported, but Listeria symptoms may appear up to 70 days later.
