decontamination required for each classification (para 1-5).

o New procedures for biologic monitors (para 1-5b(2)).
o Changed shelf-life requirements for some items (para 1-5e).
o More specific universal precaution protective barriers (para 1-6).
o Updated hand-washing procedures (para 1-7).
o Revised decontamination procedures for dental items (para 2-2).
0 Definitions of the classes of regulated medical waste (para 2-2g (3) (c)).
o Updated infection control precautions (para 3-1).
