π Fall is coming β and so is cold & flu season π
Iβve been watching Homestead Corner, and this was a great reminder to prep before everyone starts getting sick.
Instead of scrambling once congestion hits, she shares a simple lung-clearing tea you can make ahead of time or whip up when you need it.
π« Whatβs in it (simple + old-school):
πΏ Mullein β helps clear mucus
π° Cloves β anti-inflammatory & antimicrobial
π Cinnamon β warming, soothing, antimicrobial
π± Peppermint β opens airways, cooling & calming
π― Raw honey (optional) β soothing and comforting
π¨ Itβs meant to help when youβre congested, tight in the chest, or dealing with seasonal respiratory junk β and it actually tastes good.
π She suggests drinking 2β3 cups a day when sick, more if congestion is heavy.
I really like these kinds of remedies β not panic, not extreme β just being ready, especially as fall rolls in and everyone starts coughing.
Anyone else keep herbal teas or natural remedies on hand for cold & flu season?
