Violence erupted in Seaside Heights over Memorial Day weekend. Police made 73 arrests—52 adults, 21 juveniles—and responded to multiple fights and over six stabbings. Three young adults were stabbed near the boardwalk, but none are cooperating. A gun was recovered from a 21-year-old man. Reinforcements from other agencies were needed due to the scale of the incidents.
