10 Million Pounds of Food: Should We Be Paying Attention?

A few weeks ago, the LDS Church quietly distributed an estimated 10 million pounds of food across all 50 states. Most people saw a feel-good story and moved on. I couldn’t. The LDS Church has spent nearly a century building food storage, production, and distribution systems. They have a level of visibility into food insecurity that few organizations possess. When they make a move this significant, I think it’s worth paying attention.
