Police across Southeastern Wisconsin met with Mequon PD to share intel on a series of linked burglaries. The break-ins all happened Thurs–Sun during evening hours, with suspects entering from backyards. Targeted homes were on cul-de-sacs or near woods or golf courses and were unoccupied. Thieves stole jewelry, watches, purses, and cash. In several cases, alarms and cameras scared them off, and suspects may be using trail cams to scout homes.
