This is the “fallout shelter” Kay’s dad dug it out by hand back in 1960, before she was even born! It has a toilet and stove and lot do food storage items in case of an emergency! We store all the canned goods, dry storage and freeze dried foods down here. It also holds dahlia tubers in the winter and canning supplies. We actually need to restock it with some updated emergency supplies because everything is very old!
