Weekly Soybean, Corn Export Inspections Decline

USDA data shows soybean inspections for export fell to 194,904 metric tons for the week ending May 22, down from 225,358 tons the prior week and last year’s 222,977 tons. Corn inspections also declined to 1.4 million tons from 1.76 million but remain above last year’s 1.13 million. Wheat inspections rose to 561,980 tons from 431,334, surpassing last year’s 398,904 tons. Year-to-date, soybean, corn, and wheat inspections are all up compared to the previous year.
