USDA Weekly Crop Progress Report

Winter wheat condition improved slightly; spring wheat planted at 95% but condition lags last year. Multiple weather systems will bring rain, delaying hot, dry summer conditions. Rainfall will vary regionally, benefiting some areas while others risk dryness. Overall crop progress remains slightly ahead of average.
