COver 5,000 chicks, plus turkeys and quails, found abandoned inside a postal truck for three days have all been adopted. The First State Animal Center and SPCA cared for the birds, with the final group picked up Thursday morning. Most went to local families, rescue groups, and farms, giving the abandoned animals new homes after the troubling discovery.
