Stockpile 72 hours of supplies in case of disaster or attack, EU tells citizens

The EU is advising citizens to stockpile 72 hours of food, water, and essentials to prepare for floods, fires, pandemics, or military attacks. Its new strategy encourages household emergency plans and proactive measures. Inspired by Germany and Nordic countries, the EU promotes public guides and apps on crisis response. Commissioner Hadja Lahbib recommends self-sufficiency for three days and shared an emergency bag video detailing what to stockpile.
