Think before tank-mixing fungicides and insecticides

Tank-mixing pesticides can save time, reduce compaction, and cut fuel costs, but it’s not always worth it. Poor timing, incompatible products, and resistance risks can lead to wasted money and reduced efficacy. Insecticides add no plant value unless pests meet economic thresholds. Prophylactic sprays often miss the mark. Always scout, understand pest activity, and mix wisely. Just because we can tank-mix doesn’t mean we should.
