Democrat Governors Newsom (CA), Kotek (OR), and Ferguson (WA) announced their states will continue recommending COVID-19 vaccines for children and pregnant women despite HHS Secretary RFK Jr.’s removal of these recommendations from federal guidelines. Their Departments of Public Health stress access and choice for all over 6 months, focusing on high-risk groups. They also condemned RFK Jr. for dismissing the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP).
