RENEWABLES ≠ CURE-ALL
Wind, solar, and EVs reduce emissions, but the reality is more complex. I’m no fossil fuel apologist, just a realist. Renewables must be evaluated cradle-to-grave—mining, production, lifespan. Break-even points vary widely depending on whether you’re measuring cost or carbon. Without decades-long use, many renewables may not outperform fossil fuels. One study even found EVs may not break even within normal lifespans. Wishful thinking won’t solve climate change—hard truths might.
