YOUNG mothers, nurses, and caretakers frequently ask the physician for minute directions for the preparation of foods for infants and older children. I have attempted to collect from various sources recipes for the preparation of the most commonly employed foods. I undertook to do this primarily for my own convenience in prescribing for patients and meeting the repeated demand.
