Suspect in Minnesota lawmaker shootings captured after manhunt

MINNEAPOLIS — Vance Boelter, accused of shooting 2 Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses, was captured Sunday after the largest manhunt in state history. Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband were killed; Sen. John Hoffman and his wife survived. Gov. Walz: “This cannot be the norm.” Boelter’s car and belongings were found earlier, about an hour from the crime scene.
