Fire hazard due to unintended activation.
LG Electronics has recalled approximately 500,000 electric ovens sold between 2015 and January 2025 at major retailers, including Best Buy, Costco, The Home Depot, and Lowe’s. The front-mounted knobs can be unintentionally turned on, posing a fire hazard. There have been reports of at least 28 fires, resulting in over $340,000 in property damage, eight minor injuries, and the deaths of several pets.
