“I came across this post and wanted to share it with the Prepper Watch community. With egg prices soaring and meat still high, it makes sense to compare protein by cost per serving. Dry beans, peanut butter, milk, cheese, and tuna remain affordable. Quinoa and amaranth can compete with chicken. Even at $0.45 each, eggs are still cheaper than most meats. You can meet your protein needs without relying on pricey meat or poultry.”
