Hey fellow gardeners,
Just a heads-up—watch out for Poison Hemlock! It’s extremely toxic and can cause serious harm.
Thanks to our extra-wet spring, this plant is popping up everywhere and growing quickly. Soon you’ll probably notice lots of white flowers in fields and along roadsides. But remember—not all white flowers are dangerous.
Here’s how to tell if it’s Poison Hemlock: check the stem. If you see purplish blotches or spots, that’s a big red flag.
And if you touch it? Think poison ivy… but way worse.
Stay safe out there!
