Over 100 state Forest Service Employees Have Been Let Go

More Job Loss!  A total of 143 employees have been let go across the state’s forests, including 37 from the Idaho Panhandle National Forests, 45 from the Payette National Forest, 22 from Boise National Forest, and 39 from the Sawtooth National Forest. The Sawtooth National Recreation Area was hit especially hard, losing 17 of its 31 employees—an alarming 55% reduction.
