NASS data reveals ongoing drought issues in pasture and range areas across the 48 contiguous states. Currently, 33% of pastures are rated very poor to poor, up from 19% in 2024. Meanwhile, only 42% of pastures are rated good to excellent, down from 51% last year, highlighting worsening conditions for livestock grazing and forage availability nationwide.
