Idaho town rattled by mysterious EARTHQUAKE swarm

Stanley, Idaho felt 35+ quakes (1.9–4.0 magnitude) near the Sawtooth Fault, a “sleeping giant” capable of major quakes. No damage yet, but activity alarms scientists. Mapped only in 2010, this 40-mile fault last caused a 6.5 quake in 2020 affecting six states and reshaping landscapes. It could produce a 7.0+ quake, risking infrastructure collapse. Residents should prepare emergency supplies as the swarm may signal larger seismic shifts ahead.
