Nick and Emily Dornfeld grew their Annawan, IL farm from 250 to 1,500 acres and 200 chickens since 2014, turning it into a full-time venture. Much of their land has family ties—rented from Nick’s family or gained through long-term landlord relationships dating back to his grandparents.
