6-gauge galvanized fencing wire (cut to 6-foot lengths): This will serve as the hoops for your tunnel.
Mason string: Used to add stability and hold up the covering.
2-foot sticks of rebar (2 pieces): Anchors for the plastic sheeting or row cover.
1/4-inch diameter poly rope: To secure the covering at both ends of the tunnel.
4 mil plastic sheeting, or insect row cover: The protective covering for your plants. Depending on your needs, you can also use shade cloth or frost cover.
Bricks, wood, sandbags, or flowerpots: To weigh down the sides of the covering and keep it in place.
