Mountain West Food Group LLC is recalling 2,855 pounds of raw ground beef due to possible E. coli O26 contamination, according to USDA FSIS. The recall affects 1-lb vacuum-sealed “Forward Farms Grass-Fed Ground Beef” produced Dec. 16, 2025, and distributed to several U.S. states. While no illnesses have been reported, consumers are urged not to eat the product, as E. coli O26 can cause severe illness, especially in children, seniors, and immunocompromised individuals.
