Following a spike in juvenile crime, Greenville, MS has declared a state of emergency and enacted a citywide curfew. Mayor Errick Simmons cited rising youth violence as the driving force. Under-21s must stay indoors 9 p.m.–6 a.m., while adults are restricted from midnight–6 a.m. Fines start at $500 and increase with repeat offenses.
