Communities across British Columbia, including east Vancouver Island, Whistler, Howe Sound, Fraser Canyon, and south Kelowna, face some of the seasonβs hottest temperatures this week. A strong high-pressure ridge over the Pacific will push temperatures near 30Β°C through Tuesday, drawing warm, humid air inland. Environment and Climate Change Canada issued multiple heat warnings Sunday in response to the rising heat across the province.
