Company recalls golden raisins because of undeclared sulfites

Nirwana Foods is recalling 28-ounce golden raisin pouches due to undeclared sulfites, which can cause serious allergic reactions. Sold at Maharaja Super Market and Villager Farmers Market, the product has lot number 24/351-2410 and expires Oct 31, 2025 (UPC 712321993144). No illnesses reported so far. The recall followed routine testing by New York State Agriculture after sulfites were found despite no labeling.
