Last Wednesday, the ostriches at the Universal Ostrich Farm in British Columbia were alive, healthy, and some over 35 years old. Then, in the middle of the night, the CFIA moved in and began slaughtering all 400 birds. The sudden, unexplained destruction has left the community shocked and demanding answers about why these animals were killed and what really happened.
