We raise grass-fed beef and pastured pigs on our small farm and sell directly to our customers. Today we’re sharing a glimpse into our daily farming practices as our pigs forage and enjoy life out on pasture. Our homesteading journey focuses on working with the instincts God gave animals—allowing them to help regenerate the land while doing meaningful work on the farm.
Today’s chores include repairing fencing, moving some cows, and reshaping our pig paddocks so they’re more efficient. We’ll also be moving our piglets now a few months old into their next pasture for the first time.
Along the way, we’ll show how pigs help improve soil, clear unwanted growth, and prepare land for healthier pasture. Rotational grazing and regenerative farming are at the heart of how we manage our animals and land.
