Know Your Farmer
Farming has been in the Turnbull family since the 1840s when Ron’s great-great-great-great-grandfather moved to Lincoln Co, MO and purchased a farm. Ron grew up in Lincoln Co and farmed with his dad (Arlie) and grandpa (Archie). He married Yvonne Birkhead in 1978 and had 3 children – Beth, Darrell, and Doug. Ron continued farming until 1985 when, after much prayer, he started his septic installation business, Turnbull Plumbing. Arlie and Archie continued to farm, and Ron would help when he was not busy plumbing.
