President Trump recently signed an executive order reclassifying marijuana under the Controlled Substances Act from Schedule I to Schedule III. Schedule I is reserved for drugs considered highly dangerous with no accepted medical use. While opinions on marijuana vary, evidence suggests it is less addictive—and potentially safer—than alcohol.
