“Praxis” is the Greek word that refers to the act of taking ideas and turning them into reality. What defines my approach to preparedness is the focus I put upon the method by which the ideas are translated into “things”. I’m big into the permaculture concept of meeting many needs with one action. I like for preps for emergencies to have real present-day benefits as well, so they pay dividends no matter the future. And I think it’s important to be unafraid to dive right in and make mistakes while you learn – indeed, I think errors are my best teachers.
