Garden Uses of Epsom Salt

SLUG DETERRENT:
Do you have slugs in your garden or on your patio?
Sprinkle Epsom salt to deter them.

BEAUTIFUL ROSES:
Add a tablespoon a week to the soil around rose bushes before watering for faster growth.

FERTILIZE TOMATOES & OTHER PLANTS:
Every week, for every foot of height of your tomato plant, add one tablespoon.
Epsom salt is also a good fertilizer for houseplants, other flowers, and trees.

GET RID OF RACCOONS:
A few tablespoons of Epsom salt spread around your garbage cans will deter the raccoons, who don’t like the taste of the stuff.
Don’t forget to reapply after it rains.

MAKE YOUR GRASS GREENER:
Add 2 tablespoons to 1 gallon (3.7 liters) of water.
Spread on your lawn and then water it with plain water to make sure it soaks into the grass.
