The Special Needs Life Homestead

My husband, myself, and the youngest of our 3 adult children live in NW Milwaukee. Iretired from teaching 7 years ago and my husband retired from food service last year. Our youngest has special needs and we’ve been growing food mostly for him for the past 10 years. This year we’re growing to quit the grocery store veggies. We’ve constructed 9 raised beds, planted 5 greenstalks, and are current working on a water catchment system because our city water is highly chlorinated.
