LandWatch recently had $1 billion of Delaware land parcels and ranches for sale. With thousands of properties and rural land for sale in the state, these land listings comprise a combined 11,888 acres of land for sale in the state. Other major crops include corn, wheat, and vegetables. The state’s farms also contribute to the production of fruits, dairy, and greenhouse and nursery products. Delaware is one of the country’s smallest states in terms of size, covering an area of 2,489 square miles (2 million acres).
Delaware offers limited hunting opportunities due to its small size and highly urbanized areas. The state does offer hunting for a variety of species, including deer, waterfowl, and small game. The majority of hunting is done on state-owned lands and private hunting clubs. Hunting permits and licenses are required, and the state manages hunting seasons to maintain healthy populations of game species.
