Postings are an important way to post messages and information to other people. To learn how to Create a Posting click here. Once you have created a Posting you may want to change something about it or simply change the status of the Posting so other people can (or cannot) view the Posting.
To update a Posting, select the My Postings from the Posting main menu. You will be presented with a list of all your Postings as shown below.
From this page, you can find your Postings (if you have a lot), view your Posting Statuses, Edit your Postings, Delete Your Postings and View Your Postings.
Find My Postings: this feature is available when you have quite a few Postings. All Postings listed in My Postings are displayed Newest to Oldest, so this feature will allow you to find older Posting to update.
Posting Status: The status of each Posting. Postings can have one of three statuses, depending upon how you saved that Posting:
Each Posting has three icons shown on the right side of the Posting.
- : Click on this icon to Edit (or change) the Posting. You will be taken to the Change Posting page shown below.
- : Click on this icon to Delete the Posting. The Posting will be deleted.
- : Click on this icon to View the Posting. You will be taken to view the Posting. Click the back button in the Browser to return to the My Postings page.
Clicking on the Edit icon will show the Edit Posting page and allow you to change anything in your Posting. Update your Posting as required and then click on one of the Save Buttons shown below.
- Save as Draft: Saves the Posting so only you can see it and it does not show up in Find Postings results page. You can always edit this Posting again and save it as Private or Public.
- Save as Private. Saves the Posting so only you can see it, although you can use Find Postings to find your Posting. For Private Postings, you will see a ‘Private:’ label before your Posting Title. You can always edit this Posting again and save it as Draft or Public.
- Save as Public: Saves the Posting as Public which means everyone can now see your Posting. You can always edit this Posting again and save it as Draft or Private.
