This new volume in the Agricultural Development Paper series is intended primarily for agricultural officers and others responsible for the immediate supervision of hides and skins improvement programs,
and, in particular, of rural tanneries using local raw materials. It is hoped that the information here presented will reach rural craftsmen through national extension services and, in order to make the
book as useful as possible for training purposes, it is fully illustrated.
